Branson with the Good's

Thanksgiving weekend found me (& Clint) in Branson being spoiled by my father-in-law. It was a wonderful weekend filled with family, games, football, and oodles of fun. We REALLY missed Brandon and Cathy. :(

Changeless is He

"From everlasting to everlasting, You are God."
-psalms

I am so grateful that my God never changes, and that through endless ages His truth was/is/will be the Truth. I cling to that today.

a day of corn and all it's stickiness

I hate doing corn. I love being able to pull it out of my freezer and serve it. But I hate getting it to that point. It's such a sticky, hairy awful day. It's the day I dread for a whole year. The day comes I get it done and then started dreading it all over again. But I do like the fruits of our labors. Here are some very belated images documenting that horrid day.

Sierra had great fun chomping on corn cobs. :)

She got bored

here the looney stage begins to hit.

it even affected the littlest one.

oh dear, and her too.

the younger ones of us needed entertaining during the long process so we let them go for a swim. . .

leastways, I reckon you could call it a swim. ;)

Kitty Cat thought she/he was quite special to not to have to get involved.

We ate lots of cookies to make us feel better. Somehow we survived the day. :)

Even though I hate doing, rest assured, I do know that I am a very blessed girl. I got to spend time with the people I love AND now I have corn on hand for dinners! I am grateful for both. (deep down, somewhere. lol. For real though I am.)
