My Christmas gift to YOU

This pertains to photography, which earlier this year I said I wasn't going to focus on as much, I am not going back on that but I do still 'shoot people' if they want me to. So this is for the people interested in me shooting them. :)

A fellow photographer just recently knocked my socks off by offering me a shoot at a much lower price because. . . I guess, she's just nice like that. :) That and an article I read recently made me start thinking. Why we as photographers focus on blessing ourselves instead of blessing other people? It's bothered me for a while but Charity and that article really kicked that in gear. I do believe people don't value photography nearly enough,  but I also believe it's possible to make photography available to them at a more reasonable price than we sometimes do.

It is time for a GIVEAWAY!

I am hosting a 'raffle' to raise funds for Don & Twila Wingerd.  (if you want to hear their story click here.) The prize is the 'Sweeter' Portrait shoot. In order to enter you must pay $20, you can enter as many times as you want but you must pay for EACH entry. The way it will work is--in order to be entered, you send me an email (click on this link for email address), I will email you an invoice, you pay within 24 hours, you are officially entered. At least that's how it's supposed to work. This is my first time doing this so. . . I am expecting it to be a bit of a trial and error experience. So please bear with me.

NEW 'Mission/Person' to Sponsor

So I have been wanting to post this since February 1. But alas my schedule has been CRAZY. So I am only now getting to it which makes me really sad. I will be running this 'support' till the end of March to make up for it though.

My friend, Twila Wingard has breast cancer. I wanted to do something special to support her. I am super-dooper excited to announce that she will be 'sponsered' from now to March 31, 2013 by Moments by Brittany.

So all profit  made from a Portrait Shoot or image will go straight to Don & Twila Wingard to help them with Doctors bills and whatever other needs they have during this time.  Through February 28,  I am running a special 'Couple Session' (for couples obviously), which is a half hour shoot, 10 images on a disc, for $100. ALL of the proceeds of that session will go to Don & Twila. Which means all $100 will be given to them. Stay tuned for raffles and a special new line of products I am adding which will also be used to help support this family!!!!
