New things and explanations. . .

I am sure you have noticed the change of the blog title above ^.  I suppose I am taking leave of photography. Not entirely but it won't be my focus any longer. I will still do photography. But I am not going to pursue it as heartily as I have in the past. I have tried many times to get a business up and running, it hasn't ever grown and blossomed. In fact it's barely piddled along. So I guess I am giving up. I still love photography and love portrait sessions, and I will still do both (if someone is hires me). I have invested a lot  in photography classes, and editing & business training. A part of me is sad to let that all go but I do feel good about moving forward. At least I won't be 'disappointed' anymore. :)

I am not sure what exactly this blog will become from here on out. But I do have some plans and dreams for it. It will still be a blog, just not a photography blog.

BTW, my mom and I started an Etsy shop just for fun. It's on my side bar -->. You should check it out. We will be slowly adding more items. It is 'just for fun' so we are trying to take it slow.

Does it hurt more? 

                . . . No

Does it hurt less?

                 . . . No

It still feels impossible. 

I still miss her. 

It still hurts. 

But I can breathe. 

And somehow that feels worse. 

What if I forget her?

What if she fades, vanishes from my memory?

But wait, forget her?!

The girl with a smile as brilliant as the sun? 

The girl who sang her way through life? 

Never!

                        . . . So I breathe.
